Michelle Gilliam, RN
Sclerotherapy Nurse
Michelle joined the East Tennessee Vein Clinic team in April 2019.
Michelle is a Registered Nurse with 12 years of experience working specifically in the Specialty of Venous Vein Disease, with a special emphasis on treating Spider Veins and Reticular Veins. Michelle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Wesleyan College, Athens Tennessee in 2009.
Michelle has a wide range of nursing experience including an Emergency Room Charge Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, and a National trainer with RN’s for Vein Clinics of America. Michelle has been involved with Vein Clinic Marketing, Staff Training and Aesthetics and recently has been involved as a Cardiac/Thoracic Surgical Unit RN and a Home Health Nurse.
Michelle resides in Knoxville with her husband David and they have 3 sons; one played football for the University of Tennessee and graduated with a law degree. Her second son also graduated from UTK with a degree in finance and her youngest son is a senior and plays football for Wake Forrest. As a family they enjoy going to football games and in her spare time, Michelle enjoys being a fiction writer.
